When connects 12V power supply must be connected to the battery positive, otherwise it will burn out the car circuit.
GND interface must be connected with the negative electrode.
Use 12V to test the device, when connect the CD's ACC control line, the exposed line should cover with electrical tape, otherwise it will cause a short circuit and burn the device.
