1. Adjust the device to the max length before installation and adjust it to appropriate length while hanging up.
2. Put out one root to try effect after installed. If can open to 1/2 height, that's all right. Do not suggest lifting completely.
3. Block cover with hands at the first run to feel the strength, then release slowly.
4. Place it in the correct place according the rising height
5. Need 2 roots if your car trunk has censored cotton. If no or censored cotton is very small, one is enough.
6. Screw down the locking screw.
